About the Role We are seeking an experienced RPA Architect to lead the design and delivery of intelligent automation solutions for a wholesale distribution organization in Litchfield, Connecticut. This long-term contract role requires shaping scalable application architecture, guiding development standards, and connecting automation platforms with modern cloud and API-based systems using .NET technologies, UiPath, and AWS. What You'll Do

  • Design end-to-end robotic process automation solutions that align with enterprise application architecture and operational goals.
  • Define technical frameworks, governance standards, and best practices for UiPath implementations across multiple business processes.
  • Architect integrations between automation workflows, .NET-based applications, APIs, and cloud services to support efficient data exchange.
  • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to evaluate automation opportunities and convert requirements into scalable solution designs.
  • Oversee the technical direction of development teams, ensuring quality, security, maintainability, and performance across delivered solutions.
  • Create architecture documentation, process design artifacts, and implementation roadmaps to support delivery and long-range planning.
  • Review existing application landscapes and recommend enhancements that improve automation capability, reliability, and extensibility.
  • Support deployment planning, environment strategy, and ongoing optimization of automation platforms within AWS-enabled ecosystems. What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience serving in an architect-level role focused on RPA, application design, or enterprise automation initiatives.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with UiPath and its use in building robust, production-ready automation solutions.
  • Solid background in ASP.NET and .NET development within complex enterprise environments.
  • Experience designing and consuming APIs to connect automation tools with internal and external systems.
  • Knowledge of AWS technologies and cloud-based architecture principles relevant to application and automation delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to create scalable application architecture and guide technical standards across multiple projects.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both engineering teams and business stakeholders. Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary: USD 60 - 77 per hour.
