About the job

We’re looking for a robot learning and manipulation researcher to turn our models into policies that reliably handle real-world, contact-rich manipulation. This role spans policy learning, transfer from human demonstrations, and deployment on physical robots, requiring someone who can move between developing learning methods, working hands-on with hardware, and running rigorous evaluations that guide data and model improvements.

What you’ll do

• Train and deploy policies for dexterous, contact-rich manipulation on real robots.

• Transfer human demonstrations onto real robots.

• Run rigorous real-world evaluations, and guide data and model improvements.

• What we’re looking for

• Master’s or PhD in Robotics, CS, ML or a related field, or equivalent research experience, with policies deployed on physical robots.

• Familiarity with imitation learning, diffusion policies, transformers or VLAs.

• Strong Python and PyTorch skills, and a hands-on attitude toward hardware.

• Nice to have: experience with dexterous hands, multimodal sensing and teleoperation; sim-to-real; publications at top robotics or ML venues.
