Job title: Roadway Design Engineer/Project Manager
Full-service engineering firm is seeking a Roadway Design Engineer/Project Manager for their Effingham, Illinois office.
Responsibilities
- Lead design/project management of roadway, highway, ADA compliant sidewalk and multi-use facilities
- Review/provide roadway design elements (horizontal/vertical alignments, cross sections, intersection layout, drainage design, utilities conflict/relocations)
- Traffic studies and field data collection
- Assist leaders in finding solutions to problems
Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

6+ years of experience with transportation engineering and roadway design experience

Experience working on municipal and/or governmental roadway/highway projects

PE License preferred

Experience working with governmental clients in Missouri and/or Illinois

Proficient in MicroStation

Experience with Highway/Roadway Plan Production

Salary is commensurate with experience
