About the Role The RN Weekender – Cardiac Neuro ICU on Days at Edward Main Hospital provides professional nursing care in a Cardiac Neuro ICU setting. This full-time weekend schedule supports critical patient needs and unit goals within Endeavor Health.

What You'll Do

  • Provide professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
  • Assess patient condition, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and document pertinent observations.
  • Delegate appropriate patient care tasks to other staff and function as a team member to meet unit goals.
  • Work a weekend day shift (Days: 7:00am–7:30pm) delivering high-quality cardiac neuro ICU care.

What We're Looking For

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or higher preferred; 5 years of RN critical care experience; ADN or higher; if ADN highest, must graduate BSN within five years of start date.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Current State of Illinois RN licensure; CPR certification (American Heart Association); BLS; ACLS within six months of start date.

Nice to Have

  • Cardiac ICU or Neuro ICU experience is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly pay range: $36.00–$55.80 USD
  • Sign-on bonus: $10,000 for RNs with 5+ years of critical care experience (paid $5,000 at 3 months and $5,000 at 12 months)
