About the Role This PRN RN role supports Logan Health's Triage Call Center by providing professional nursing assessment, triage, patient education, and care coordination by phone to support safe, timely clinical decision-making. The position is on-site at Logan Health Medical Center in Montana with flexible scheduling to cover department needs. What You'll Do
- Provide telephonic triage, assessment, and clinical guidance using the nursing process
- Develop and implement individualized, goal-directed care plans
- Accurately transcribe and carry out provider orders, both verbal and written
- Document all patient interactions in accordance with organizational standards
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition, both physical and mental
- Educate patients and families regarding health conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up care
- Coordinate patient care and interventions in collaboration with providers
- Maintain strict adherence to infection prevention and workplace safety protocols
- Demonstrate strong prioritization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Maintain reliable attendance and dependability for scheduled shifts What We're Looking For
- Current Montana RN license or multi-state compact license with authorization to practice in Montana
- Minimum of two (2) years of RN experience in a medical setting such as a clinic, physician office, or hospital
- Current BLS/CPR certification at the Healthcare Provider level
- Strong knowledge of professional nursing theory and clinical practice
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong knowledge of infection prevention and control practices
- OSHA rules and safety standards knowledge
- HIPAA guidelines and patient confidentiality requirements
- Excellent critical thinking and sound clinical judgment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems quickly Nice to Have
- BSN degree
- Previous experience in a triage or call center environment
- Experience in assigned specialty area(s) Compensation & Benefits
