About this role

About the Role RN on the Surgical Unit for a 13-week seasonal assignment, supporting care for surgical and oncology patients. Seasonal RNs are fully integrated team members who collaborate with surgeons, hospitalists, therapists, case managers, and support staff to deliver high-quality postoperative and oncologic care. What You'll Do

  • Provide skilled nursing care for postoperative and oncology patients in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Support patients through post-operative recovery, pain management, wound care, patient education, and discharge planning.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, hospitalists, therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams from day one.
  • Work on a 36-hour per week schedule across 3x12-hour shifts during the 13-week seasonal assignment.
  • Participate in a setting that values quality, compassionate care and patient-centered outcomes. What We're Looking For
  • Current Montana RN license or compact license eligibility.
  • 2+ years of Med/Surg RN experience.
  • Oncologic care experience preferred; ONS Chemo Provider card preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to integrate into a seasonal, community-focused care setting. Nice to Have
  • Chemo provider card (ONS) preferred. Compensation & Benefits
  • 13-week seasonal assignment with 36 hours per week (3x12-hour shifts).
  • 15% seasonal premium pay.
  • Bonuses: $1,000 after 30 days, $1,000 after 60 days, and a $2,000 completion bonus.
  • Seasonal nurses are fully integrated members of the Surgical Unit team and work alongside experienced nurses, providers, therapists, case managers, and support staff.
