About the Role The Registered Nurse (RN) 2 provides and coordinates nursing care for a defined patient population in a safe, therapeutic environment. The role requires clinical judgment across the life span and collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team. What You'll Do
- Gather data through history taking and physical assessment and interpret findings to plan and implement care.
- Develop, evaluate and revise the patient’s plan of care and nursing actions.
- Document care provided and patient progress toward outcomes.
- Directly supervise others in delegated nursing activities; lead the care team.
- Educate patients and significant others about the plan of care; prepare patients for discharge, transfer, or procedure.
- Manage time and resources to deliver high-quality patient care and administer medications.
- Serve as a Resource Person for the assigned shift and a preceptor for new employees.
- Perform job-specific duties and other responsibilities as assigned. What We're Looking For
- Education: Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
- Certification/ Licensure: RN – New Hampshire Board of Nursing; Basic Life Support (American Heart Association).
- Experience: One year of clinical nursing experience; ability to work effectively with patients, care providers, and the multidisciplinary team. Nice to Have
