About the Role The Registered Nurse Residency - Home Care role at Dayton Children's provides professional nursing care in pediatric home care settings, guided by the standards of the American Nurses Association and the Ohio Board of Nursing. The RN collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to assess patient/family needs, deliver competent nursing care, and support a patient- and family-centered experience while adapting to changing census and care needs.
What You'll Do
- Provide professional nursing care in pediatric home care per ANA and Ohio BON standards.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to assess patient and family needs and plan, implement, and evaluate care.
- Promote a patient- and family-experience oriented environment and support care continuity as census and needs change.
- Uphold commitment to BSN within 5 years of hire; maintain licensure in Ohio.
What We're Looking For
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
- Licensure: RN license in Ohio; CPR certification (American Heart Association).
- Commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
Nice to Have
- Pediatric home care experience (not explicitly stated, but beneficial if available).
