About the Role Join the Emergency Room (ER) team at Oklahoma Heart Hospital (OHH) to deliver fast-paced, compassionate emergency care. You will assess patients, deliver nursing care, and coordinate with physicians to determine disposition, while supporting patients and families.
What You'll Do
- Assess patients and provide care in the ER, ensuring timely and accurate patient assessments.
- Coordinate with ER physicians to determine patient disposition (admit, transfer, observe, or discharge).
- Maintain high standards of safety and patient-focused care with our low nurse-to-patient ratios.
- Collaborate with the nursing team and other care providers to ensure smooth patient flow.
What We're Looking For
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current Oklahoma RN licensure.
- BLS certification required at time of hire; ACLS and PALS within 18 months of hire.
- Minimum of one year telemetry/cardiac clinical experience preferred.
- Strong assessment and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience in telemetry or cardiac units.
