About the Role The RN - Pulmonary Medicine Unit (Days) provides nursing care for higher-acuity pulmonary patients at Endeavor Health's Elmhurst location. This on-site role emphasizes care coordination, patient and family teaching, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. The schedule includes 7am–7pm shifts with every 3rd weekend and holiday track, totaling about 24 hours per week. What You'll Do
- Develops a plan of care that identifies interventions to achieve expected outcomes. Evaluates patient’s progress toward attainment of outcomes, systematically revises diagnosis, interventions and expected outcomes as needed.
- Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
