About the Role Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the PACU on day shifts. This role independently provides safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations on a specific unit, utilizing the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate the patient plan of care. Travel to Evanston, Glenbrook, and Highland Park Hospitals may be required.
What You'll Do
- Independently provides safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations on a specific unit.
- Utilizes the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
- Includes patient and family in the plan of care as appropriate.
- Maintains regulatory compliance in individual practice.
- Assumes the responsibility, accountability, and authority for outcomes of nursing care and to make decisions based on their therapeutic relationship with the patient.
- Guides and directs assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
- Communicates and collaborates with nurses, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
What We're Looking For
- Education: Graduate of a state approved school of nursing required. BSN preferred.
- License/Certification: IL RN License; CPR; BLS issued by the American Heart Association.
- Experience: 6 months RN experience in a comparable role - Preferred.
Nice to Have
- BSN preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $36.00 - $55.80 per hour.
