About the Role RN - Ortho/Spine Unit at Edward Main Hospital Naperville. Full-time night shift 36 hours/week, 7:00pm-7:30am with rotating weekends and holidays. Provide professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures. What You'll Do
- Provide professional nursing care in accordance with Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures.
- Employ critical thinking, assess patients, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, record observations.
- Delegate appropriate patient care tasks to other staff.
- Function as a team member to fulfill unit goals.
- General duties may vary by unit or shift. What We're Looking For
- Education: BSN preferred; Required: ADN or higher; 1+ years RN inpatient unit experience; If ADN highest degree, must graduate with a BSN within five years of start date.
- Licenses/Certifications: Current State of Illinois RN licensure; CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
- Skills: Inpatient nursing, critical thinking, communication, teamwork, patient assessment.
- Experience: Inpatient RN experience. Nice to Have
- BSN preferred.
- Orthopedic/Spine experience desirable. Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay range $36.00 - $55.80; pay determined by expertise and years of experience.
