About the Role Endeavor Health seeks a Perioperative RN to join the OR Cardiovascular team at Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview. You will provide direct patient care across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations during the perioperative period, advocate for patients, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct patient care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients during the perioperative period.
- Serve as patient advocate and work with the surgical team to facilitate safe, efficient procedures.
- Assess the surgical environment for potential safety concerns and intervene as needed.
- May assume responsibility for orientation of new staff, educational programs, and securing/maintaining supplies and equipment.
What We're Looking For
- Education: Graduate of a state-approved school of nursing; BSN preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: IL RN License; CPR; BLS issued by the American Heart Association.
- Experience: 2+ years RN perioperative experience preferred; basic computer skills.
- Other: Ability to work in a fast-paced perioperative setting; strong communication and teamwork.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $36.00 - $55.80 per hour.
