Job title: RN | Oncology Infusion
About the Role Logan Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for Oncology to support patients through their treatment journey. The role will primarily be based in the Logan Health Medical Center Hospital Infusion, with float support to the outpatient Hematology/Oncology Infusion in Kalispell, MT.
What You'll Do
- Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other oncology-specific infusions.
- Administer treatments to pediatric patients as well as adults.
- Provide patient education and emotional support tailored to each stage of the treatment process.
- Monitor and manage patient symptoms and infusion reactions, collaborating with the broader oncology care team.
- Maintain accurate patient records and participate in treatment planning.
What We're Looking For
- Prior experience in Oncology or Infusion; chemotherapy and immunotherapy administration preferred.
- Completion of the ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certification Course (required within 6 months if not already held).
- Oncology Nursing Certification (OCN) is a plus.
- APHON provider course (required within 24 months if not already held).
- PEARS course (required within 12 months if not already held).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; compassionate patient and family support.
- Montana RN license or multi-state compact; BSN preferred.
- 2 years of nursing experience in either acute care or infusion; oncology experience preferred.
- RQI Provider (BLS) required within 7 days of hire or before independent patient care.
- Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and professional nursing practice.
