About the Role Port Arthur, TX site. CORE Health Networks is seeking experienced Occupational Medicine Registered Nurses (RNs) to support our occupational medicine program. This is a full-time, temporary position with a competitive salary. What You'll Do
- Administer treatment of work-related injuries and evaluate and document its effectiveness.
- Provide client education in areas related to safety, first aid, CPR and others as needed.
- Assure proper maintenance of patients' records.
- Perform client services related to Occupational Health and Safety protocols.
- Demonstrate a courteous, caring and understanding attitude towards patients, clients, co-workers, visitors, volunteers, peers and medical providers.
- Be well organized, flexible and able to function effectively as part of a cohesive team and independently with little supervision.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, interruption prone environment.
- Demonstrates creative problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks utilizing limited resources.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic computer, clerical, phone etiquette and customer service skills.
- Direct patient care skills to include, but not limited to: wound cleansing, dressing and suturing; suture removal; splint application/removal. What We're Looking For
- Valid state RN licensure.
- Completion of an accredited nursing program or certificate.
- High school diploma/GED.
- Clinical nursing experience preferred (occupational medicine/ER/family practice).
