Job title: RN-Manager
About the Role The RN Manager is responsible for planning, organizing and directing essential patient care functions for the assigned unit, leading performance improvement efforts and ensuring policy and regulatory compliance.
What You'll Do
- Lead on-unit and department performance improvement initiatives and ensure integration with unit practice.
- Oversee education for clinical staff and support ongoing staff competency and professional growth.
- Ensure adherence to departmental/hospital Policies, Procedures and Standards of Care, as well as State and Federal laws and TJC standards.
- Promote evidence-based nursing practice and quality initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Education: BSN or MSN required.
- Licensure/Certification: California RN license; BLS from AHA; department-specific requirements (e.g., ACLS, NIHSS, NRP, PALS, STABLE, AWHONN fetal monitoring, WOCN, CDCES depending on unit).
- Experience: Four (4) years of clinical RN experience in an acute care setting; leadership experience preferred.
- Ability to lead, mentor and collaborate with clinical and non-clinical staff.
Nice to Have
- Leadership experience is preferred.
- Specialty certifications depending on unit (WOCN, NRP, CDCES, etc.) per department.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $58.43 - $90.50 per hour.
- Sign On Bonus Eligible.
- Schedule: Full Time; Hours: 40 per week.
