About the Role The RN II provides direct patient care to the designated patient population and collaborates with patients, families, peers, physicians and the health care team to deliver high-quality care. The nurse assesses patient needs, plans, implements and evaluates care in alignment with growth and development, hospital philosophy, policies and standards. This role demonstrates leadership and professional accountability and supports ongoing growth.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with nursing practice and standards.
- Collaborate with patients, families, peers, physicians and other members of the health care team.
- Assess patient needs, plan, implement and evaluate care based on growth/development and hospital policies.
- Demonstrate leadership and accountability consistent with professional nursing practice.
What We're Looking For
- Education: BSN or MSN or enrollment in RN-BSN or RN-MSN program within one year of hire; completion within five years of hire if hired after July 1, 2012.
- Licensure/Certification: California RN license; BLS (AHA) required upon hire. ACLS and PALS required for selected units; NRP and AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring were noted as applicable; STABLE within 30 days according to the role's requirements.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $43.59 - $69.36 per hour
- Schedule: Full Time; Shift: Nights; Hours: 12 hour shifts; Total weekly hours: 36
