About the Role Concord Hospital-Laconia is seeking experienced RNs to join our RN Float Team. This per diem, part-time position offers the opportunity to use diverse clinical skills across multiple acute care settings within the hospital, including medical/surgical and critical care units. What You'll Do
- Provide direct patient care and administer medications per the plan of care.
- Gather data through history taking and physical assessment to plan, implement, and adjust interventions.
- Develop, evaluate, and revise patient care plans; document progress and outcomes.
- Lead the care team, supervise delegated nursing activities, and serve as a resource on the shift.
- Educate patients and families about the plan of care and prepare them for discharge or procedures.
- Manage time and resources to deliver safe, effective care; collaborate with multidisciplinary team.
- Act as a preceptor for new employees and support team development. What We're Looking For
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; NH RN licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with patients, care providers, and the multi-disciplinary team; strong teamwork.
- Ability to perform nursing actions with organized thinking and sound clinical judgment.
- Experience across medical/surgical or critical care settings; medication administration. Nice to Have
- BSN preferred.
