About the Role A Critical Care RN at Edward Hospital provides professional nursing care in alignment with Illinois RN Practice Act and hospital policies, delivering high-quality patient assessment and care in ICU settings. This evergreen opportunity supports current and future RN openings across Endeavor Health. What You'll Do
- Provide professional nursing care in accordance with state law and hospital policies.
- Assess patient condition, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and document observations.
- Delegate appropriate tasks and collaborate with the care team to meet unit goals.
- Adapt to unit and shift needs; responsibilities may vary by location and shift. What We're Looking For
- Illinois RN licensure and current CPR certification (AHA or ARC).
- ACLS certification within six months of start date.
- 2-5 years of RN critical care experience.
- ADN or higher in Nursing; if ADN, must obtain BSN within five years; BSN preferred.
- Willingness to work Day or Night Weekender shifts; full-time or part-time opportunities. Nice to Have
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher (preferred).
- Experience in Medical ICU or Cardiac Neuro ICU settings (Edward Hospital units). Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay range: $36.00 - $55.80
