About this role
RN position at Logan Health Chester in a Critical Access Hospital and Emergency Department setting. Provide on-site acute and critical care in a rural Montana community, contributing to the hospital’s mission of quality, compassionate care and supporting a 24/7 rural health operation.
Deliver high-quality nursing care in ED/CAH settings, including acute and critical care tasks as needed. Collaborate with providers and the Logan Health team to coordinate patient care, treatment planning, and discharge. Maintain required certifications and adhere to hospital policies and safety standards. Participate in scheduling and shift coverage in a 24/7 operation; adapt to changing needs of a small rural hospital. Support rural healthcare delivery and contribute to a positive, patient-centered environment.
Active Montana or compact RN license. Critical care experience in ED, ICU, or similar settings; Med/Surg or Long-Term Care experience is a plus. ACLS, PALS, and TNCC required at start. Independent, flexible, and capable of thriving in a rural environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Med/Surg or Long-Term Care experience (explicitly noted as a plus).
