Risk Engineer - Madrid

Risk Engineer based in Madrid (Spain) in order to carry out P&C surveys in Spain. Experience in the insurance sector (risk engineer, loss adjuster, appraiser) and/or fire protection (projects, audits, installation) will be valued. An opportunity to go in depth in risk management and loss prevention in all kind of industrial sectors.

The Role

• P&C risk surveys (mainly in industries)
• Risk assessment regarding processes, construction, utilities, fire protection, loss estimate
• Issue of reports for underwriting (insurance markets) and reports with recommendations (clients)
• Control and follow-up of assigned accounts
• Support account executives based on information gathered in risk surveys and provided by clients
• Help and advise clients in relation with their risk management policies, projects

Qualifications

• The Requirements

• Engineer (BSc/MSc)

• Master’s / Postgraduate Courses related to functions will be valued

• English and Spanish proficiency required. Additional languages will be valued

• Availability to travel in Spain (mainly) and abroad

• Experience in fire protection (projects, audits) will be valued

• Previous experience in the insurance sector (risk engineer, appraiser, loss adjuster) will be valued
