About the Role The Volvo Financial Services GmbH in Deutschland sucht eine Risk Control Officer, um Governance, Risikomanagement, regulatorische Compliance und Informationssicherheit zu stärken. Sie arbeiten eng mit der Geschäftsleitung zusammen, um Risikokontrollen gemäß MaRisk weiterzuentwickeln und aussagekräftige Risikoberichte über Kredit-, Asset-, Betriebs- und ESG-Risiken zu erstellen.

What You'll Do

  • Support the management on all major questions of risk management and contribute to evolving the risk strategy.
  • Ensure and further develop an independent risk-controlling function according to MaRisk and governance structures.
  • Conduct risk inventory, create the overall risk profile and develop risk indicators and early warning signals.
  • Monitor and further develop risk-bearing concepts including stress testing and the limit framework.
  • Develop and optimize risk-control and risk-management processes for credit, asset, collateral, operational and ESG risks.
  • Create meaningful risk analyses and reports for management and supervisory authorities; assess regulatory changes and implement relevant requirements, especially MaRisk and DORA.
  • Responsible for outsourcing management per MaRisk including risk analyses, monitoring and supporting audits and examinations.
  • Support Business Continuity and Incident Management and monitor information security per DORA.
  • Further develop the Internal Control System (IKS) and deliver trainings and awareness on risk and regulatory topics.

What We're Looking For

  • Completed studies in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a comparable field, ideally with further qualification.
  • Several years of relevant experience in Risk Controlling, preferably in the finance, leasing or auditing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of MaRisk and the German regulatory environment, ideally with BAIT and DORA experience.
  • Experience in building or enhancing risk-bearing capacity, reporting or governance systems.
  • Good understanding of Internal Control Systems (IKS) and governance structures.
  • Strong analytical skills, holistic thinking and sound judgment.
  • Excellent communication with Management, supervisory authorities and internal interfaces.
  • Fluent German and very good English; proficient in Excel and Word.
