Job Position: Risk and Credit Officer

Job Location: 433 Kala Plaza, Rumuokwuta, Port Harcourt, Rivers

Employment Type: Full-time

Start Date: Immediate

Work Schedule Days / hours: Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)

Job Description

• The Risk and Credit Officer will be responsible for supporting effective credit administration, risk assessment, loan monitoring, and recovery while ensuring compliance with the organization’s policies and applicable regulatory standards.
• The ideal candidate should be analytical, accountable, trustworthy, and capable of safeguarding the organization’s financial assets and reputation.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should:

• Possess proven integrity and a strong sense of accountability.
• Have a sound educational background.
• Have practical experience in credit administration and risk management.
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Have good knowledge of microfinance operations.
• Be able to evaluate and assess credit/loan applications.
• Monitor loan performance and identify potential risks.
• Have experience or competence in loan recovery and follow-up.
• Ensure compliance with institutional policies and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrate leadership capacity and sound decision-making skills.
• Be committed to protecting the organization’s assets and reputation.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Interested candidates should possess an HND with at least 2 years of experience.

• Candidates with relevant experience in microfinance, credit administration, loan

• management, risk management, banking, or financial services are preferred.

• Remuneration

• Salary: N90,000 per month for the first 3 months

• Confirmation Salary: N120,000 per month, with additional incentives upon confirmation.

• Probation Salary: N90,000 per month for the first 3 months
