RISE Personal Care Specialist

About the Role Green Thumb Industries’ RISE Personal Care Specialists engage one-on-one interactions with patients and/or customers in a retail cannabis dispensary environment, helping customers find the right product and method of consumption while ensuring safety and compliance.

They serve as product experts who educate guests about options and usage, and they strive to provide a positive, welcoming retail experience. The role requires knowledge of GTI's product menu and the ability to tailor recommendations to individual needs. What You'll Do

• Engage with and assist patients and/or customers in a customer-facing retail environment.
• Educate customers on products, methods of consumption, and safety as part of patient interaction.
• Utilize product knowledge to recommend safe and effective regimens tailored to each customer’s needs.
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and stay informed about regulatory requirements.
• Promote a positive, customer-oriented store atmosphere and support store operations to ensure compliance.
• Verify order deliveries for accuracy and assist with daily retail tasks (front of house and back of house).
• Ensure local and state cannabis regulations are properly enforced and followed.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and carry out safety protocols.
• Complete duties at assigned workstations (check-in, POS, curbside, fulfillment, receiving, etc.).
• Perform other duties as assigned by management. What We're Looking For
• At least 1 year of customer service experience; preference for candidate with specialty, customer-facing retail experience.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must have valid driver’s license or state ID.
• Must pass all required background checks including state cannabis employment requirements.
• Ability to work a schedule including mornings, days, nights, and weekends.
• Reliable attendance; ability to move around the dispensary and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Must be compliant with all applicable cannabis laws, regulations, safety rules, and company policies.
• Prior cannabis experience is not required.
• Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer operations.
• Willingness to learn about cannabis, cannabinoids, and GTI products. Nice to Have
• Previous cannabis knowledge or interest in cannabis therapies and endocannabinoid system.
• POS experience or familiarity with dispensary operations.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Compensation & Benefits
• Salary: $17/hour.
