About the Role SBU: Scorpio Drilling; Reports to: D&C Supervisor; Location: Rig-Based. This role has rig-based authority for the safe and efficient execution of the approved drilling program, coordinating with service companies and on-site teams to maintain well integrity and performance. What You'll Do
- Run the well per program; perform pre-job briefs, JSA, and permit-to-work verification
- Supervise rig crew and service companies (directional, mud, cementing, wireline, fishing); verify critical tests (BOP/annular/accumulator), pit-gain monitoring, kick detection/response
- Approve step-changes, deviations, and contingencies; maintain well barrier schematic and red-line drawings
- Real-time cost/time tracking vs look-ahead; daily ops report (DOR), morning report inputs, DDR verification
- Enforce DROPS, lifting plans, confined-space, and SIMOPS controls with marine/production teams What We're Looking For
- 8–10 yrs supervisory drilling experience
- IWCF L4, BOSIET/HUET, H2S certifications
- Strong knowledge of swamp logistics and barge operations
