About the Role Western Digital is seeking a design-focused engineer responsible for creating high-performance RF and analog circuit blocks. This role involves transistor-, block-, and module-level design, simulation, optimization, layout supervision, layout verification, preparation of test plans for the testing team, reliability and yield assessment and modeling, simulation to bench and bench to test correlation, bench evaluation both at silicon level and at applications level, and documentation.

What You'll Do

  • Design high-performance RF and analog circuit blocks at transistor, block, and module levels.
  • Perform circuit architecture, design, simulation, optimization, and verification.
  • Supervise layout, verify layout, and coordinate test plan development for the testing team.
  • Conduct reliability and yield assessment and modeling; simulate bench-to-test correlation; bench evaluation at silicon and application levels.
  • Document results and communicate across cross-functional groups; demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
