Job title: RF Microelectronic Engineer
About the Role RF Microelectronic Engineer to contribute to defense projects within Indra Group's Advanced Electronics Innovation Center. You will characterize RF transistors, design MMICs, HPAs, LNAs, and modules for strategic defense applications, combining lab work and remote collaboration.
What You'll Do
- Characterize transistors and RF designs using advanced lab equipment.
- Analyze requirements and technical specifications; define architectures at circuit and system levels.
- Design MMICs, HPAs, LNAs, filters, and integrate into modules.
- Collaborate on development and validation of prototypes.
- Document and present design results and technical findings.
- Work in a hybrid environment, balancing in-lab presence with remote work.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of experience.
- Degree in Telecommunications Engineering (communications or electronics specialty), Electrical, Electronics, Physics or related field.
- Knowledge and experience in monolithic or hybrid RF circuit design at component and module level.
- Positive evaluation of GaN and other III-V materials, silicon, germanium.
- Proficiency with electromagnetic, thermal, and signal simulation tools.
- Highly valued experience with ADS, Keysight, or AWR; Cadence.
- Experience with RF lab instrumentation, network/spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team in a hybrid environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with GaN or other III-V semiconductor technologies and related materials.
- Strong hands-on lab capability and willingness to work in defense-related projects.
