Job title: RF Hardware Engineer
About the Role Jump Trading Group is seeking an RF hardware engineer to own and drive improvements in the analog/RF design portions of our radio products. This role focuses on developing robust RF subsystems used in our trading infrastructure, ensuring reliable performance in demanding environments.
What You'll Do
- Drafting and reviewing RF specifications
- Producing block diagrams for RF/analog subsystems
- Managing vendors for outsourced RF design projects
- Guiding schematic and PCB design for internal development projects
- Conducting lab and field testing
- Debugging RF issues in development and production
What We're Looking For
- Experience with drafting/reviewing RF specifications, block-level system design, and managing vendors/subcontractors
- Familiarity with PCB design considerations for RF circuits
- Hands-on experience with RF test equipment and debugging
- At least 5 years of experience in the design of RF circuits and systems
- BS/MS in Electrical/RF Engineering or equivalent experience
Nice to Have
- Experience with wireless communication systems
- Proficiency in Python
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: Annual Base Salary Range $150,000–$200,000 USD
