About this role
Revenue Systems Product Manager
The Revenue Systems Product Manager makes sure that what we build solves well-framed business problems and delivers measurable value.
Revenue Systems runs the tools that about 440 people across many teams use every day, from Sales and Customer Success to Finance and Data: Salesforce as our hub, and around it tools for conversation intelligence, scheduling, enrichment, contracts, billing and customer success. We are turning the team into a product team, where each tool has an owner, a direction and outcomes we measure.
In this role, you shape how we understand a problem, who we involve, and what has to be true before anyone starts building. You help the business frame the problems worth solving, map business processes to the systems that support them, and turn that understanding into clear priorities and requirements.
Key responsibilities
-
Disclosure. Lead discovery for new initiatives and significant changes, using structured methods such as workshops, stakeholder mapping, business process mapping and written discovery briefs. Continuously improve how the team runs discovery.
-
Problem framing. Build a deep understanding of the business and help stakeholders define the problem, its impact and its success criteria before solutions are discussed.
-
Process and systems mapping. Map business processes to the systems that support them, and identify gaps, overlaps and opportunities across the stack.
-
Requirements. Translate business needs into user stories, functional requirements and acceptance criteria, and lead acceptance testing, including with implementation partners.
-
Backlog and prioritisation. Own the Revenue Systems backlog, review and scope incoming requests, and prioritise based on business value, risk and effort.
-
Roadmap. Contribute to the Revenue Systems roadmap and its sequencing, surfacing dependencies and trade-offs.
-
Configuration governance. Define, for the tools you own, which changes business administrators can make themselves.
-
Hands-on configuration. Deliver a defined share of declarative configuration and automation in Salesforce and adjacent tools.
-
Expected impact
Within your first months, we expect you to make a visible difference to how the team works:
- A consistent discovery approach applied to new initiatives
- Clearly framed problems and requirements, leading to less rework after build
- Shared visibility of priorities and the reasoning behind them
Requirements
-
We encourage you to apply even if you do not meet every requirement listed below.
-
Must have
-
Experience in product management, product ownership or business analysis for business systems, ideally in B2B SaaS
-
Structured discovery and requirements work: workshop facilitation, process mapping, user stories and acceptance criteria
-
Backlog management and prioritisation based on value, risk and effort
-
Working knowledge of the Salesforce data model and declarative configuration
-
Knowledge of revenue lifecycle management: quoting, contracting, subscriptions, amendments, renewals and billing
-
Clear written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
-
Nice to have
-
Experience establishing or improving a discovery or product practice within a team
-
Experience implementing a CPQ, revenue lifecycle management or subscription billing solution
-
Experience working with implementation partners
-
Experience with a multi-tool go-to-market stack beyond Salesforce
-
Framing automation or AI use cases with measurable outcomes
-
Certifications are not required.
-
Collaboration
-
You work closely with the engineers and administrators in Revenue Systems, pairing with engineers during discovery so that solutions are technically sound before they are built. Outside the team, you partner with RevOps process owners and the business teams who rely on our tools, from commercial teams to Finance and Data, to align on priorities, dependencies and sequencing.
-
If this opportunity excites you, we look forward to receiving your application!
