Retrofit Technician / Senior Retrofit Specialist
Overview
Perform Retrofit on Metropolis train in order to ensure their availability. Provide technical support, warranty support team, rolling stock support team.
Key accountabilities
- Perform Retrofit activity on train taking into account work instructions and related documents, including investigation and repair.
- Reports & register any deviation (failure/event) in Retrofit activity.
- Apply & enforce Alstom & customer EHS & security rules.
- Execute test & troubleshooting procedures to evaluate status of modifications.
- Support specific technical investigations by Engineering or internal/external Suppliers
- Recommends preventive and corrective actions
- Perform training to operators in field modification and repairs if needed.
- Advises Retrofit manager regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, and suggestions for product enhancements.
- Ensure good information flow about interventions & operations within Retrofit activity to support shift transition, if needed
- Contribute to Return of Experience
Education requirements Technical modification (electrical)/Technical troubleshooting/investigation/testing experience (electrical / electronic) (> 10 years for Senior position). Field Experience (> 10 years for Senior position). Product knowledge EHS knowledge and exposure. Good use of english language- mandatory. Computer skill.
