About the Role We are looking for flexible part-time Seasonal Sales Assistants to work in our York store to support our teams as we prepare for Summer trading. This role involves a mix of stockroom tasks, deliveries, and customer service to help keep the shop floor quick, easy and inviting for customers. What You'll Do
- Support in the stockroom, help with deliveries and organise stock to make it quick, easy and safe for the team to get it to the shop floor for the customer.
- Act as a 'runner' ensuring the team selling product has the products and sizes they need to meet our customers' needs.
- Take on the role of store greeter, manage queue, welcome customers and direct them to the right product or team member.
- Process transactions on the till, ensuring the last interaction you have with our customers is positively memorable.
- Share your passion for Docs and selling our iconic product to our customers! What We're Looking For
- Similar experience within a retail or service environment; experience with a fashion/lifestyle brand would be ideal but not essential.
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings in line with store opening hours and operating needs.
- Availability to work key seasonal trading days over the Summer Peak season.
- Enthusiasm for Docs and confidence to share this with our customers.
- Excellent communication skills, able to build relationships with a diverse team.
- Resilience and an energetic approach to work; the role can be physically and mentally demanding particularly when dealing with large numbers of customers, stock and deliveries.
- Professional, but authentic and fearless! Nice to Have
