About the Role New Balance is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Associate for Ardmore, PA. The role supports store operations and delivers exemplary customer service by using product knowledge and proper selling techniques to guide customers through every step of the transaction. What You'll Do
- Provide outstanding customer service using selling techniques, product knowledge, and the GUEST service model: greet customers, understand needs, educate on features/benefits, resolve questions, and guide the sale through suggestive and multiple selling with an effective close.
- Correctly measure and fit customers with appropriate NB product; inform customers about promotions; keep floor neat, organized, and well stocked; ensure items are labeled and price-marked; protect products by tagging, monitoring, shrinkage and security issues; follow safety procedures and report accidents. What We're Looking For
- Must be 18 years or older; friendly, capable of thriving in a team environment; strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
- Prior retail experience preferred but not required; familiarity with cash registers and basic math; ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays; physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance; stand for extended periods; occasional climbing of ladders and stairs. Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $13.40 - $16.80 - $20.15 per hour. Actual base pay varies by experience, location, internal equity, and other factors.
