About the Role Retail Sales Associate (PT) at New Balance, responsible for delivering exemplary customer service and product knowledge in a fast-paced retail environment. What You'll Do
- Greet customers and assess their needs; educate on product features and benefits; guide them through the transaction using effective selling techniques
- Solve customer questions or problems; close sales with suggestive and multiple selling
- Measure and fit customers with appropriate New Balance products; inform about promotions
- Keep the floor neat, stocked, labeled, and price-marked; protect products and report shrinkage
- Follow safety regulations, lift procedures, and report accidents or near misses What We're Looking For
- Must be 18 years or older; strong customer service and verbal communication
- Prior retail experience preferred but not required; ability to work in a team
- Familiarity with cash register functions and basic math; flexible schedule including weekends/holidays
- Physical ability: lift up to 50 lbs with assistance, stand for long periods, occasional ladders and stairs
- Raleigh, NC location; onsite Nice to Have
- Prior retail experience is a plus Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: $12.80 - $16.00 - $19.20 per hour; hourly
