About the Role New Balance is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Associate for our Aurora, IL store. You will help ensure smooth store operations and deliver exemplary customer service, applying product knowledge to assist customers throughout every step of the transaction. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service using proper selling techniques, product knowledge, and the GUEST service model.
- Greet customers and understand their needs; educate on product features and benefits; solve questions or problems.
- Transact sales via suggestive and multiple selling and effective closing.
- Properly measure and fit customers with NB products; inform about promotions.
- Keep the floor neat, organized, well stocked, labeled and priced; monitor stock and shrinkage; follow safety regulations.
- Lift and move items as needed; follow safety procedures and report accidents. What We're Looking For
- Must be 18 years or older; strong communication and customer service skills; able to thrive in a team.
- Past retail experience is preferred but not required; familiar with cash registers and basic math; flexible schedule including weekends/holidays.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance, kneel/squat, stand for extended periods, climb stairs/ladders as needed. Nice to Have
- Prior retail experience; comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment. Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $15.00 - $16.80 - $20.15 hourly. Base pay varies by experience, role, location.
