About the Role New Balance is seeking part-time Retail Sales Associates to ensure our retail stores operate smoothly and provide exemplary customer service at Mall of America in Bloomington, MN. You’ll use expert product knowledge and proper selling techniques to assist customers throughout every step of the transaction while positively representing the New Balance brand. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service using proper selling techniques, product knowledge, and the GUEST service model
- Greet and make customer contact; understand customer needs; educate on product features and benefits
- Solve customer problems and answer questions; transact the sale through suggestive selling and effective closing
- Correctly measure and fit customers with appropriate NB product; inform customers about promotions
- Maintain floor appearance: neat, organized, well-stocked; ensure items are labeled and priced properly
- Protect products: greet customers, attach/detach security tags, monitor floor merchandise, report shrinkage/security violations
- Follow safety regulations, including proper lifting procedures and timely reporting of accidents/near misses What We're Looking For
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be a people person; strong customer service and verbal communication skills
- Past retail experience preferred, but not required
- Demonstrated ability to flourish in a team environment
- Familiarity with cash register functions
- Ability to quickly perform basic math
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Physical ability: lift up to 50 lbs with assistance; stand for extended periods; kneel/squat; climb ladders and stairs as needed Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: $13.40 - $16.80 - $20.15 hourly
