About the Role Retail Sales Associates ensure our retail stores operate smoothly and provide exemplary customer service. They use product knowledge and proper selling techniques to assist customers through every step of the transaction, representing the New Balance brand. What You'll Do
- Greet customers, initiate contact, understand needs, and educate on product features and benefits
- Solve customer questions and close sales through suggestive and multiple selling techniques
- Measure and fit customers with appropriate New Balance products; inform them about promotions
- Keep the sales floor neat, organized, well stocked, labeled, and properly priced
- Protect products by tagging/detaching security tags, monitoring merchandise, and reporting shrinkage or security issues
- Follow safety regulations and promptly report accidents or near misses What We're Looking For
- Must be 18 years or older; a people person
- Strong customer service and verbal communication; ability to work in a team
- Familiarity with cash register functions and basic math
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance, stand for extended periods, and climb ladders/stairs as needed

- Prior retail experience is preferred but not required Nice to Have

- Pay range: $12.80 - $19.20 hourly
