About the Role Retail Sales Associates support store operations and deliver exemplary customer service by applying product knowledge and selling techniques to assist customers through every step of the transaction. This role helps maintain a welcoming New Balance brand experience on the sales floor. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service using proper selling techniques, product knowledge, and the GUEST service model
- Greet customers, identify needs, educate on product features/benefits, solve questions, and close sales through suggestive and multiple selling
- Measure and fit customers with appropriate NB product; inform about promotions
- Keep the floor neat, organized, and stocked; ensure items are labeled and priced
- Protect products by managing security tags, monitoring floor merchandise, and reporting shrinkage or security violations
- Follow safety regulations, including proper lifting procedures and reporting accidents/near misses What We're Looking For
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Proven customer-service orientation with strong verbal communication; able to flourish in a team environment
- Past retail experience preferred but not necessary
- Familiarity with cash register functions and basic math
- Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to lift up to 4 lbs frequently, up to 8 lbs occasionally, move boxes up to 50 lbs with assistance, kneel or squat frequently, stand for extended periods, and climb ladders or stairs as needed Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: $13.40 - $16.80 - $20.15 hourly
