Job Summary
The Retail Sales Assistant will be responsible for attending to customers, driving sales, maintaining an attractive store environment, and ensuring that every customer enjoys an excellent shopping experience.
The ideal candidate must be confident, presentable, courteous, and passionate about fashion, with the ability to engage customers and convert inquiries into sales.
Key Responsibilities

Customer Service and Sales

Welcome customers warmly and assist them in selecting suitable fashion items.

Understand customer needs and recommend products that match their preferences.

Actively promote products and work towards achieving daily and monthly sales targets.

Respond professionally to customer inquiries, complaints, and requests.

Follow up with customers where necessary to encourage repeat purchases and build customer loyalty.

Keep customers informed about new arrivals, promotions, and available products.

Store Operations

Ensure that products are properly arranged, displayed, and priced.

Maintain store cleanliness, organisation, and visual merchandising standards.

Monitor product availability and report low stock levels to the store manager.

Assist with stock counts, inventory checks, and stock movement documentation.

Ensure that all sales transactions are properly recorded and handled according to company procedures.

Protect company property and report any stock discrepancies or suspicious activities promptly.

Sales Reporting and Teamwork

Submit accurate daily sales reports and customer feedback.

Work with the Store Manager and other team members to achieve store targets.

Identify customer preferences, product requests, and potential sales opportunities.

Participate in store meetings, product training, and sales improvement initiatives.

Maintain professional conduct and comply with company policies and procedures.
