Job title: Restaurant Leader Trainee
About the Role The Restaurant Leader Trainee is a leadership development path designed for individuals who want to grow into restaurant leadership. This hands-on program begins from the ground up and emphasizes learning through operation experience in East Bronx Chick-fil-A Bartow Ave.
What You'll Do
- Learn Front of House and Back of House restaurant operations.
- Serve guests with professionalism, warmth, and urgency, and support kitchen operations as needed.
- Model punctuality and a positive attitude; participate in coaching and feedback.
- Learn restaurant systems, standards, and procedures; assist leaders during shifts.
- Communicate clearly with Team Members and guests; help maintain cleanliness, speed, accuracy, and food quality.
- Contribute to a strong restaurant culture and lead by example as you grow into leadership.
What We're Looking For
- Willingness to learn both Front of House and Back of House operations.
- Strong reliability, availability, coachability, and guest service mindset.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 51 pounds.
- Excellent communication and teamwork; comfort with feedback and coaching.
- Prior restaurant/hospitality or supervisory experience is a plus but not required for exceptional candidates.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in restaurant, hospitality, retail, military, team leadership, or supervisory roles.
