Job title: Responsable Production et Méthodes (All gender) Chalon-sur-Saône
About the Role Reporting to the Factory Manager, you will lead Production and Methods/Industrialisation activities to drive performance at the Chalon-sur-Saône site. You will ensure a safe working environment, develop your teams, and champion process optimization and digitalization to deliver high-quality, on-time manufacturing.
What You'll Do
- Lead Production and Methods/Industrialisation activities under the Factory Manager and drive alignment with site objectives.
- Guarantee a safe work environment and promote a strong safety culture; coach and develop your teams; identify talents and succession plans.
- Drive operational performance to meet Quality, Cost and Delivery commitments; achieve industrial performance targets and internal/external customer satisfaction; manage the budget for your scope.
- Supervise all methods and industrialisation activities; define, optimize and standardize manufacturing processes; develop and update work instructions and production standards.
- Organize and improve workstations to optimize safety, quality and productivity.
- Deploy continuous improvement tools and participate in site development projects (digitalisation, industrial investments, evolution of tools and organisations).
- Define development priorities for the sector (projects, investments, modernization of equipment).
What We're Looking For
- Ideally a degree from an engineering school in mechanical, industrial engineering or equivalent.
- Proven experience in operational management in a demanding industrial environment, ideally in metallurgy or heavy manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of methods, industrialisation, production or process improvement; proficient with Lean Manufacturing.
- Ability to manage cross-functional projects and drive change.
- Comfortable with data analysis and industrial digitalisation; professional English to operate in an international environment.
