Job title: Respiratory Therapist RRT - Per Diem
About the Role Respiratory Therapist (RRT) at Endeavor Health will provide respiratory therapy across neonatal to geriatric patients, under physician orders and hospital policies. The role emphasizes assessment, treatment administration, documentation, patient communication, and education to support safe and effective care.
What You'll Do
- Provide respiratory therapy to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients as ordered by physicians according to hospital policy and procedures
- Assess patients to determine the most suitable method of administering treatment
- Document treatment activities, equipment maintenance and quality control, and transcribe verbal or phone orders from physicians
- Communicate treatment details clearly to patients and families
- Monitor patient physiological response to therapy with emphasis on pediatric and neonatal patients
- Provide patient and staff education
What We're Looking For
- Licensed by the State of Illinois as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
- Graduate of an AMA approved school of respiratory therapy
- CPR (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association
- 6 months experience in a health care setting preferred; 1 year of adult critical care experience (neonatal or adult) preferred

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $33.16 - $49.74 per hour
