Job title: Respiratory Therapist RRT - Part Time - Days
About the Role Join Endeavor Health as a Respiratory Therapist - RRT at Highland Park Hospital. This part-time role provides respiratory therapy across neonatal to geriatric patients, following physician orders and hospital policies. The position includes patient assessment, documentation, education, and collaboration with patients and families.
What You'll Do
- Provide respiratory therapy to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients as ordered by physicians per hospital policy and procedures.
- Assess patients to determine most suitable method of administering treatment.
- Document treatment, equipment maintenance and quality control activities and transcribe verbal or phone orders by physicians.
- Communicate to patient and family the treatment being performed in a clear manner.
- Monitor patient physiological response to therapy with special attention to pediatric and neonatal patients.
- Provide patient and staff education.
What We're Looking For
- License: Licensed by the State of Illinois as a Respiratory Care Practitioner, required.
- Education: Graduate of an American Medical Association approved school of respiratory therapy, required.
- Certification: CPR (BLS) issued by American Heart Association, required.
- Experience: 6 months experience in a health care setting preferred; 1 year of adult critical care experience, neonatal or adult, preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $33.16 - $49.74 per hour (USD).
