Job title: Respiratory Therapist RRT - Multiple Campuses
About the Role Endeavor Health is seeking Respiratory Therapists (RRT) to support multiple hospital campuses in Illinois. This evergreen opportunity covers hospital-based roles across several sites, with sign-on bonus potential for eligible full-time positions. You will provide prescribed respiratory therapy, assess patients, document treatments, and educate patients and families.
What You'll Do
- Provide respiratory therapy to patients as ordered by physicians, per hospital policy and procedures
- Assess patients to determine the most suitable method of administering treatment
- Document treatment, equipment maintenance and quality control activities and transcribe verbal or phone orders
- Communicate the treatment being performed to patients and families in a clear manner
- Monitor patient physiological response to therapy, with special attention to pediatric and neonatal patients
- Provide patient and staff education
What We're Looking For
- Graduation from a nationally accredited Respiratory Therapy program (CoARC)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or proof of registry-eligible status
- State of Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure within six months of employment
- Current CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay range: $33.16 - $49.74 USD
- Sign-on bonus potential up to $25,000 for full-time nights and $10,000 for full-time days/evenings
