Job title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - 7P-7A Sign On Bonus
About the Role The Respiratory Therapist works under the general direction of the Director of Ancillary Services and Respiratory Care Supervisor. He/she is responsible for supporting and maintaining the respiratory system by providing respiratory therapy to patients in accordance with physician orders and established standards and practices to patients of all ages. They are a member of the multidisciplinary health care team.
What You'll Do
- Provide respiratory therapy to patients as ordered by physicians, following established standards and practices
- Support and maintain the respiratory system across patients of all ages
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary health care team to deliver high-quality care
- Stay current with state-of-the-art respiratory therapy knowledge and maintain competency
What We're Looking For
- Training/experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- Must be a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) with standards maintained, as recognized by the Iowa Department of Public Health
- Familiar with multiple types/brands of respiratory therapy/diagnostic equipment
- Strong desire to maintain competency and grow with evolving technology
- Experience working with computers
Compensation & Benefits
- Sign on Bonus: $5,000
- Schedule: 7P-7A, 36 hours per week
