About this role
Respiratory Therapist, Pediatrics (Part Time) - Corewell Health, Helen DeVos Children's Hospital, Grand Rapids, MI. Part-time, night shift (6:30pm-7am), every other weekend, 24 scheduled hours/week. Up to $15,000 sign-on bonus for eligible external candidates.
As a Respiratory Therapist you'll collaborate with a highly skilled clinical team to help diagnose, monitor and treat conditions affecting the lungs and breathing in patients of all ages at a leading children's hospital.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate respiratory care needs and make recommendations/changes per policy and protocol
- Perform advanced evaluation, management and therapeutic interventions for patients requiring respiratory assistance, and document per legal/regulatory standards
- Perform point-of-care testing as required
- Complete required education and competencies within designated timeframes
