About the Role The Respiratory Therapist provides efficient, quality patient care within the department policy/procedure manual. The role includes performing support activities such as equipment maintenance, inventory, and setting up and operating respiratory care equipment for diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and/or illness. This is a full-time NOC shift based in our San Francisco facility. What You'll Do
- Provide and operate respiratory care equipment for diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and/or illness.
- Perform support activities including equipment maintenance, changes, inventory, and set up.
- Identify learning needs and educate patients and families.
- Communicate and collaborate with a variety of teams and individuals.
- Apply professional standards of practice in job situations. What We're Looking For
- One (1) year critical care and/or artificial airway and ventilator care experience preferred.
- Ability to project a professional image; knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills; ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications such as Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (EMR).
- Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
- Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist in the state of employment; documented proof of obtained degrees; current BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association. Nice to Have

- Salary: $46.06 - $56.16 per hour (USD).
