Job title: Respiratory Therapist III - Full Time - Night
About the Role The Staff Respiratory Therapist III provides general, intermediate, and intensive respiratory care to neonatal and pediatric patients as part of a multidisciplinary team under the guidance of the Neonatal or Pediatric Coordinator. This role performs a wide range of therapies and assessments to support safe, effective patient care.
What You'll Do
- Deliver Oxygen Therapy, Bland and Medicated Aerosol Therapy, and Airway Clearance Techniques as prescribed.
- Administer Assisted Ventilation Techniques and Mechanical Ventilation; perform Blood Gas Sampling and Analysis and Non-Invasive Blood Gas Monitoring.
- Manage Airway Support, provide CPR, and conduct Bedside Pulmonary Function Testing.
- Conduct Sleep Assessments, Breathing Retraining, and Home Care Instruction; provide Patient/Parent Education and Smoking Cessation Counseling.
- Participate in In-House and Ambulance Transport as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials.
- Associate's Degree and CPR Card.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced pediatric setting as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
