About this role
Resourcing Services Advisor
Could your customer service skills help strengthen our recruitment services and connect people with meaningful public sector careers across the West Midlands?
At West Midlands Employers (WME), we work with public sector organisations across the region, helping them attract, recruit and develop the people they need to deliver important local services. Our Resourcing team provides recruitment and attraction services to these organisations, including supporting WMJobs, our regional public sector job board.
As a Resourcing Services Advisor you'll play an important role in that team, supporting customers and jobseekers day to day and helping to ensure our services are professional, responsive and easy to use. You'll also contribute to how our services continue to improve and develop.
Your Impact
Customer support and service delivery sit at the heart of this role, and you'll often be one of the first people customers interact with, making an important contribution to how our services are experienced and perceived.
Day to day, you'll provide advice and support to customers using our recruitment services, help users navigate our recruitment systems and respond to enquiries from jobseekers, helping ensure our services run smoothly and effectively. Alongside these core responsibilities, you'll contribute to marketing activity, customer engagement, service improvements and projects, helping to develop our services and contribute to WME's wider goals and priorities.
You'll also play a visible role in representing WME and WMJobs across the region, meeting customers and jobseekers face to face at job fairs, careers events and organisation wide initiatives. You'll help promote our services and public sector careers, connecting people with opportunities that make a difference.
Working as part of a small and supportive organisation, you'll work closely with your manager, wider colleagues and a peer in the same role. Together you'll contribute to shared goals, support one another and play an active role in helping the team, services and organisation succeed.
What You'll Bring
You don't need a background in recruitment to be successful in this role.
What matters most is your ability to deliver excellent customer service, build strong relationships and bring a positive, professional approach to your work.
You'll enjoy working with others, contributing positively to team objectives and taking ownership of delivering great outcomes for people who use and benefit from our services. You'll be organised, adaptable and motivated by doing a good job.
Whether your experience comes from customer service, administration, sales support, recruitment, HR or another customer facing environment, we'll support you to develop your knowledge of recruitment, our services and our systems.
Why Join Us?
This is an opportunity to be part of a small organisation where your contribution genuinely matters.
You'll work closely with an experienced and supportive team, including a colleague in the same role, giving you the opportunity to learn, share ideas and deliver great outcomes together. You'll have visibility of the impact of your work, whether that's supporting a customer, improving a service, supporting delivery of a regional event or promoting public sector careers across the West Midlands.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in delivering their core responsibilities well, while also looking for opportunities to contribute, build relationships and support the wider team.
If you're motivated by helping others, enjoy working collaboratively and take pride in a job well done, you'll find plenty of opportunities to grow, contribute and develop in this role.
