About the Role We are seeking a part-time Resource Teacher to join The Goddard School in Columbia, MD. The role focuses on creating a safe, nurturing classroom environment, supporting each child’s development, and collaborating with teachers and families to foster a love of learning. No Nights and Weekends! What You'll Do
- Establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment
- Supporting each child’s social and emotional development
- Implementing lesson plans and activities
- Establishing positive and effective family relations
- Working with the classroom teachers and the entire faculty What We're Looking For
- Must be certified in infant and toddler or preschool per MD guidelines
- Shows empathy and compassion for young children
- Dependable, adaptable, and able to work toward a common goal
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Nice to Have
- Flexible hours to accommodate classes and opportunities to support your certification to become a teacher

- Salary: $19.00 per hour
