About the Role Resilience Reins is a 7-week non-riding program for youth ages 8-17 and their families who have experienced trauma. The program is co-facilitated by a mental health professional, a PATH International Certified Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning, and a Certified Educator to support physical, emotional, and psychological well-being. What You'll Do
- Co-facilitate weekly sessions for youth and families in a non-riding therapeutic program.
- Support the program's therapeutic goals and logistics under the direction of a mental health professional and the program team.
- Help create a safe, trauma-informed environment; assist with group activities and coordination with the equine specialist and educator.
- Communicate with families and participants; assist with program administration and scheduling. What We're Looking For
- Experience working with youth and families in trauma-informed settings.
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team (mental health professional, equine specialist, educator).
- No horse experience required; open to all; comfortable with a non-riding program.
- Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and program guidelines. Nice to Have
- Background or interest in equine-assisted therapy or related fields.
- Experience in group facilitation or youth program delivery.
- Skills in trauma-informed care and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
